Copper Fox Studio is a unique place where items with a lot of character are created.  Some one of a kind items like Liam the Fox was inspired by a small trail that I found going across our yard.  For months I wondered what made that little trail.  One beautiful fall morning I was up early looking out the window overlooking the landscape full of brilliant colors when I noticed the creator of this mystery trail.  There he was, a beautiful copper colored fox on his return from a  night out.  He was the inspiration for our creations.  We have seen him many times since.  We started with Liam and some old favorites from the 1800's and early 1900's and gave them a new twist like our studio mascot Liam seen in the top picture on his rabbit.

Our paper animals and characters are unique design peices. They are interesting sitting on a mantal or bookshelf or just about anywhere. None of our animals are mass produced and no two are exactly alike. Even when molded, each takes on its own personality when dry. Some look a little heavier bodied, some look a little thinner. I chose papier mache for that reason, as well as it is light weight and durable.I really like celluclay and think it is a superior product for almost any look .I would like to start a discussion board on tips and teqniques in the near future.

 Below is our easter fox.We put long stem cinnamon lolly pops in the shape of red hearts in his basket . He makes a dramatic store display especially if you make home made candy. He was origionally made for a unique gift store to dusplay their home made candies. He is a very interesting decoration for year round display also. we put same length twiggs in his basket in fall as if her were gathering fire wood.We put some red christmas berrys in his basket for the holidays season. One of our favorites is the dapper fox who looks like he is sneaking to the hen house with his little basket. These fellows are all hand made and take some time to make start to finish. A freind of mine has a gift shop and she puts different signs on the little hand hook for the season. 79.95
